She Left Us Here
She left us here
Granny worked washing dishes all day long.
After work she walked home while singing a song.
Our granny was always strick but never mean.
We had our chores but our mouths were clean.
We weren't allowed to cuss or tell any lies.
Granny was strick so we didn't even try.
We washed our hands and prayed at every meal.
Cause our Lord and granny had made a deal.
Granny loved to play games and read us a book.
We loved to visit her she was our favorite cook.
No matter how long she's gone I'll always remember
her long silver hair
and she taught us love and taught us to share.
She was the greatest to us you see.
My brothers,sisters and me.
