She Is a Half Breed Some Said
Look at that tail, she is a half-breed some said.
Her mother was a cat, but her father was dead.
I think he was a squirrel more than one did surmise.
Yes, he was. Some of us knew him, so it was no huge surprise.
This was a new orchard; the day was Halloween.
Costumed witches and goblins were easily seen.
Look at that tail! She is a half breed I heard.
Yes, she is, but why mention it? My word how absurd!
