She Chooses To Heal Herself

She chooses to drown her mind with music, Instead of how she would down drinks until sick. She chooses to go home to find some relief, Instead of how she used to roam to escape all of her grief. She chooses to swallow unspoken hurt, Instead of throwing hollow words she could blurt. She chooses to heal her own heart, Instead of trying to change how others feel on her part.
