Afroze Ali Poet Verse

She

She
                                              works fast
                                                   and
                                              talks quick
                                             but at night
                                            she breathes
                                                   slow
                                               whispers
                                               to herself
                                                a lullaby
                                            sleep my dear
                                              it’s time,
                                                  rest
                                            Don’t dread
                                              tomorrow
                                              it’ll come
                                                 like
                                               each day
                                                  does.
