Shattered Hearts
In the realm of bitter love, hearts entwined.
A tale of passion, once so kind.
Promises made, now left behind,
In the shadows of a love maligned.
Sweet words turned sour, like pisoned wine. Betrayal's sting, a bitter sign.
Love's flame extinguished, no longer divine,
In the echoes of a love's decline.
Tears shed in silence, hearts confined.
Memories linger, intertwined.
A bitter love, once so blind,
Now a lesson learned, the heart refined.
