Shattered Glass

Like a shattered glass that lay on the floor,
of a heart that is no more, but the pieces start,
To gather again,
Thanks to a friend,
And their helping hand.
They are slowly rebuilding,
This broken heart,
The one I thought,
Would always be apart.
My friend has tried to ease my pain,
Take the hurt away.
Tried making my nites,
And brighten my day.
My friend is succeeding,
More all the time,
She is slowly curing,
this heart of mine.
