Shatter Proof
Awkward states of mind
They pause the present time
Surroundings seem still
As I drill the ink into what the inside feels
Intoxicating look into a reality that’s so surreal
Attention to detail
A breath of life into the words this sword reveals
Mightier than any physical form
Whimsical with words
From the page, stories I’ve lived are reborn
Moments matter
Never take them for granted even if they’re beaten and battered
Shatter proof
The dreams designed to succeed
Dreams that reveal your truth
It’s an appetite with a spoon to feed
I need this poetry soup
