Shatter

Fingers reaching out,
Trying to grasp,
What once was mine.

A broken heart,
Bleeding and crying.
He was giving up,
He was dying.

Regret,
Burning through my skin.
Words echo in my mind,
To remind me of my sin.

Tears wash my sight,
A small cut here.
Sudden sting of pain,
As I watch red appear.

Longing for those days,
Wishing for your embrace.
Insanity takes place,
Leaving me in a daze.
