Sharing Joys When No One Is There

Sharing joys with one you love
Enhances that joy tenfold
But when they have gone 
You are left all alone
Key in the door 
To your empty home
Wanting to tell them 
Wanting to share
Silence surrounds you 
It is everywhere
No one to love
No one to care
An empty home for
no one is there
Emptiness is truly
so very hard to bear
