Shape Shifting Soul
Like a stretch of sand on the shore
My soul has a delta and core
Like pair of feet that dances with tides
Sometimes it walks, sometimes it rides
It's a cup where wisdom is filled
But where too much that flows is spilled
Like a rain, it falls to be flood
In veins, it runs to be blood
It's like water that becomes any form
When going with the flow is the norm
Like a cloud it becomes white or gray
Then, the shine in its smile greets the day
Sometimes black like the cloak of the night
For, at times, in dark days, it needs a light
It needs flame of wisdom to show its way
But at times, on its own, bends to pray
