Shape Shift Escape Artist
If seeing is perceiving
Than your believing is deceiving
As my form tends to be weaving
from one to the next direction
that's in where lies this deception
what you saw is just perception
But only yours and for a second
Never mine as I had beckoned
A change in matter that I reckoned
You always told me not to frown
To be happy, turn it upside down
So I twisted round and round and round
Until there could be no frown found
The face that once was in this place
Now occupies an altered space
Morphing until I cease to chase
A form worthy of enduring replace
I wish each shape only to exist
As long as I see fit to persist
Simplicity remains a bit remiss
Countless fleeting first impressions
I shift with ebb and flow of tensions
Transforming if you dare to mention
Something I feel as ill intentioned
Physical self unrecognizable
It keeps me in a pleasant state
With my abilities rather sizeable
Nothing at a meaningful or lengthy rate
Some say that would be unadvisable
But you'll never know if it's me you see
And I yearn for that versatility
I'll never be the same me twice
Ever changing self may be my vice
Nice meeting you friend, again and again
Until all my features blend, it's been a slice ;)
