Shamrock

Written by Glenn McCrary & Jacqueline Webb

Dear creature,
I am beholden to you
And dare I call you beloved?

In this instance,
(This chance meeting)
You are all I care to know
And it satisfies my core----
Leaving a sweet taste on the tongue.

You are illuminating.

I can finally see the horizon line;
You shine as intensely as the sun----
Your starlit face illuminating
And seducing the pavement beneath my feet.

Your face shall be my beacon
And your caramel orbs,
The North Star-----
Guiding me home.
