Shamed Emotion
What is angered emotion
that runs so strong
It can take magnificence
and destroy with one storm
It is the unseen force of power
that swells from within to erupt
and not cower
No shackles to break or bars to remove
It simply bursts forth without any reprove
It sets on a mission to ultimately release
a darkness inside that can not find peace
It builds its strength on building
insecurities
Desiring to shed its darkened
impurities
Anger gains power in the shadow of light
It can only creep and prey
during the darkness of night
It’s the light that weakens it’s wicked flame
It’s the light that reveals
its impending shame...
