Shall We Be Friends

---I wrote this for a new person whom I hope will stay in my life; Laura's best-friend Allie whom I've only met a couple times but still...you never know...

We have only recently met,
Shall we be friends
always waiting at the ends...

I do not know just yet,
but I hope good friends we do become
and until I know for sure, again and again around I'll come...

So shall we be friends,
I'm trapped in this unanswered question's net
But do not give up on me just yet...

Shall we be friends?
I hope so...
