Shall I Shant I

I've made the wrong choice,
the voice,
in my head said go,
when instead,
it should have said,
whoa!
Take what you know
and think for a while,
reconcile,
go that mile
before you act,
show some tact,
don't react to feeling,
you're dealing
with bigger things here,
the fear
of the unknown,
you need to be shown
another way,
which, on another day,
wouldn't let you stray
down this path of least resistance,
so, in this instance,
you have no choice,
don't listen to that voice.
