Shall I Make a Schedule?

Those who tell us how to plan our day
Say making a schedule is the only way
Of your jobs just make a detailed list
Check them off so that none are missed
That way you will turn out a lot of work
So nobody can claim you’re a lazy jerk
You’ll have satisfaction of jobs well done
Even if it allowed no time for having fun
Though however efficient a schedule may be
It’s not always best for folks like you & me
For some days I want only to laze about
And not to have my time all spelled out
