Shaki Cat Named For a Goddess

Shaki escaped from mad woman who wanted to put her in clothes She met raccoons, dogs, other cats, sheep, cows, and does. Bed always lovely; she preferred always sleeping outside by far. Easily found most of her game under the twinkling midnight stars. Slept in some of the most amazing spots in the universe, snoring away. Terrific attitude, so warm hearted people gave her food during the day. Welcome in China, Japan, Puerto Rico, the USA, Mexico and Timbuktu. Could return to a friend’s abode, for her personality was great too! Said one of the old wizened sorcerer cats as they shared a fish cake, You should go to India and see the statues that revere your namesake What do you mean? Shaki asked, for she truly did not know She was named after a Goddess, of might, whose creativity doth glow. Sage sorcerer cat gave her a dream, and a slumber map in her sleep. She was so excited the next morning, she almost wanted to weep. Headed for India, where oranges, pinks and blues swirled pure joy. She was a happy cat when she arrived, even met a fine kitten boy. Shaki, the Goddess of feminine power and energy, he said to her. She climbed up the statue, and it stroked her with love on her fur. She decided to stay in India forever and she lived happily forever after. Told grandchildren about the day she climbed the statue to its rafter.
