Shady Tree

I rest below shady tree

Pink blossoms

Fall on me

The shade, so sweet

Shelter from this heat
I look upward

To the tree

Pink blossoms

Fall on me

The place to be

The place for me

Shady tree

Made for me

Leafy shades,

Never fades

Pink blossom,

Drifting down

Lifts my frown

Pink blossom

From the tree

Falls on me

Shady tree

Belongs to me

The heart lifted

Pink blossoms

Gifted

The joy of a tree to charm the heart and open the mind to sing sweet songs of poetry is only felt when a genius grasp its poetry. High praise
