Shadows Scurry
Darkness descends as shadows scurry,
and a dying, scarlet sun silently sets.
Ruby-red and crimson-colored
clouds coalesce into a sullied shroud.
As dusk darkens, daylight dims.
And while sullen silhouettes slip-slide,
black bats blacken the air; in full flight.
