Shadows of Snow
Thousands of artists
Standing in line
Dripping their paint
On canvas supine
One leaf at a time
They fall where they may
Creating a blanket
Of floral array
Silently giving
A most brilliant scene
A plethora of colors
For all to be seen
But soon their wonders
Will all fall below
And be only memories
In shadows of snow.
Rockman
I credit Russell Sivey for the last line. I used it in my own way (Shadows In the Snow)with his blessing. Thanks Russell.
