Shadows

Shadows.
Out there in the shadows I see you roam
Out there in the shadows I hear you roar
You are wrath
You are vengeance
You are life without a goal
You are the nightmares, the stories forever told.

I see you through my looking glass
I see you, all I do I laugh
You are what were
I am know what is
I cannot forget, but I see you through a hazy fuel soaked sin.

These are not rose tinted glasses
This is a life without the devils sin.
This is life through a looking glass
I see you and yes I still laugh at the past.

Looking back on life looking at all my trouble and strife, making me grin because I
have found the love I buried within.

Brilliant. I really like your work. I've just started publishing my own stuff. I like to mix angst with humour. It's a way of dealing with my past. I find it helps enormously. http://www.poetrysoup.com/poems_poets/poem_detail.aspx?ID=347219 I look forward to reading your latest work.
