Shadows

There's a darkness
Within the light
But when its high noon
It goes out of sight

Within the crevices and
Cracks it looms
Outside or inside
Its in every one of your rooms

A shadow will follow you
Wherever you go
It keeps your pace
Whether it be fast or slow

Out in the sunshine
Wherever you may be
There will be your shadow
Connected to your feet

But don't you worry
Don't you fret
No one's been hurt by a shadow,
at least not yet.
