Shadow Spires

Shadow Spires

The long shadows
Crept across the garden
Dusk fell
Swiftly

The long shadows
Bony fingers
Pointing to the sky
Climbed upwards

The cool of evening
Reached down
In a blaze of starlight
In a Shadow…..
Of Spires

Soft edged
Midnight blue
The shadows of the night
Crept through

Soon all that was left
Were Shadow Spires
Reaching in to the night sky
A Castle hidden….
From you and I
