Shadow People
Shadow People
Did you ever see a face in a snowy covered tree
Did you ever see a face in a place that should not be
Have you ever turned abruptly to see no one there at all
Have you ever felt a presence, though no one you can recall
Do you sometimes see a smile somewhere in your peripheral vision
Do you often smell an odor, though familiar, from where you can not envision
Are there times when you feel a gentle breeze, a light touch when you awake
Are there noises that startle, grab your attention, makes your heart quake
S Solemn are these entities
H Hiding is their home
A Amazing possibilities
D Deception acutely honed
O Our level of misconception
W Where two realities collide
P Perhaps unsure of the perception
E Evolving from a different divide
O Observing from an alternate dimension
P Presence felt but seldom ever seen
L Lost in an world of incomprehension
E Ever wanting to be, but never to intervene
These are visions, faces you can and cannot see everywhere
These are shadows, all you must do is allow and be aware
Shadow people is what I call them, unsure of what they are
Shadow people show themselves, their presence, time's memoirs
