Shadow of Mirror

Countenance of shining silver, a cheerful lucent mirror. Sparkled on the cheeks ,droplets of woe and tear. grief of grimace flushed, glitter all in disappear . The mirror was sobbing to see it's own reflection . A glimpse of its own image on a glass of imagination . Oh! ! ..there she was...! the beauty demure...like an angel..she was the cynosure . red soft lips...smile so pretty. those expressive eyes..what a fervent beauty From head to toes an eloquent of radiance. she was indeed an epitome of elegance. But was she real?..no perhaps surreal. there ..she was going away!! The ephemeral gaze of love ..why so foggy? " Don't go away"... The dalliance within yearned.. "Please come back"..my shadow.. the bright shades of my dearest ego" She moved away with speed of light. The immaculate image of mirror ... was fading out of sight.... She was treading astray... hundred light years...far away. The mirror was shattered, broken in thousand pieces. Cracked the hoarseness, a choked voice of glass, "there goes my flesh and blood.. my beguiling silhouette ... my gorgeous soulmate ". Eclipsed in silence of darkness ... the blind mirror waited Can someone switch on the light please ? a lantern to create a shadow and cajole.. a fire flame to light up the soul. From caverns of heart emerged a searing pain. The vanity of the mirror was now all in vain.

Nicely flowing verse. Mirror can be cruel and incisive.
