Shades of Tomorrow
I look upon the landscape
The life that I own
With filters that I see through
Little light’s shone
I’d sacrifice my existence
For a shot at success
When all I really want
Is what’s really best
But then comes the light
I see clearly this night
I’m not losing my rights
For new…
Shades of tomorrow
Color my soul
Cascading sorrow
Fell out of control
I look for an answer
In a sky full of rain
But then comes tomorrow
A chance once again
My feet are now failing me
As I walk alone
The landscape's a distance
But, remains still my home
I only wish that someone
Somewhere will see
I look for my new future
For my soul to set free
But then comes the light
I see clearly this night
I’m not losing my rights
For new…
Shades of tomorrow
Color my soul
Cascading sorrow
Fell out of control
I look for an answer
In a sky full of rain
But then comes tomorrow
A chance once again
