Shade

you offered me a shade of green
the color of my eyes
you told me of a Irish dream
baby, hold on to me

you offered me a shade of blue
the color of the sky
you said you'd give me any hue
baby, hold on to me

you offered me a shade of red
the color of a rose
you spread them on a lover's bed
baby, hold on to me
baby, hold on to me
