Seventh Grade

I wear a mask of happiness because it is the only way, To get me by unnoticed through each horrible day My sister isn’t here, My mom and dad don’t care Too see any pain, I’ll just stumble and take the blame. For someone elses actions, I hide my only fear. I embrace the world around, not shed a tear. I wear a mask of happiness to get me through the day, Untill I come to school again and see your smiling face.
