Notes About The Poem

Seventeen Is the Lucky Number

Strength Of Sorrow

From one to ten, my strength of sorrow's high.

Incidental- for loving kin or friend,

my empath is a weakness, and I ply

aura of weeping willow- in the end,

     lamenting veneration- my godsend.

Idyllic is my heart- I'll surely cry

supine upon my bed with each goodbye.
