Seven Victorious Words
When to His disciples, Himself He displayed,
Resurrected Jesus said, "Be not afraid";
"Peace be unto you", divine peace He declared,
"Why are ye troubled?" He asked them who were scared;
To Mary, He asked, "Woman, why weepest thou?"
"{I have risen, I am here}, Whom seekest thou?"
"Lo, I'm with you always," promise of hope,
"even to the end of the world", we can cope;
He tells us, "Be not faithless, but believing,"
All Christ asks of us is to Him be cleaving.
