Seven Ten

SEVEN TEN Ten past seven this evening All hell is due to break loose I have much to tell you when you get home I’d rather not say anything for now Face to face is the appropriate way It was a surprise for me I did not expect it now When almost everything can quickly change Well, we all live in interesting times For some, is interpreted as a curse I don’t think you’d ever guess The heavy weight that I bear You’ll try and work it out all day, I know With your imagination running wild Hoping for better, but prepared for worse So for now, get through the day They’ll all see doubt in your eyes But you might just welcome knowing it all Some you may have suspected all along Maybe joy and pain in equal measure And I hope you’ll understand When I show you the letter
