Seven and a Half Months

He knew their love was going to be short But he asked her to marry him anyway Because he did not want to waste one minute of time they could be together She hesitated because he was such a great guy, and she thought he deserved a happily forever after, but he was handsome, charming, persistent and the love of her life. Their eyes met as she began the walk down the aisle, and they knew. Their time together would be worth it no matter how short. It lasted seven and a half months, the most wonderful time of both of their lives.
