Setting the Matter Straight
There are times when you’re distracted
And you even can forget
To take care of business; maybe
It’s not happened to you yet.
But in time, it’s bound to happen
And perhaps you’ll be dismayed
For you’ll realize that a slip-up
Is the price that you have paid.
Some distractions may cause damage;
Others only aggravate.
If you’re lucky, you’ll recover
And can set the matter straight.
*I rarely miss a day of posting a poem.
