Sestina

Life is a mystery, life is a dream
But let me tell you something about life
Things never happen the way you’d expect

I talk of mothers who are expecting
Yet they are killing another child’s dream
Then would expect the best of their child’s life

I have seen many evils in my life
Of all these the worst would be to expect
To attain great success by crushing dreams

Dreams of those whose life we expect to bloom
