Served with Love

Delicate heart of mine I served silver plattered, As I watched it get sundered and shattered, I thought it swayed your palate gladder, But you said it could flavor a little better.

Dear Anne, Oh, so delicate, each line served with the raw vulnerability of a heart laid bare. I liked how your words speak of love that is offered selflessly, only to meet the bittersweet reality of imperfection. Even the most sincere offerings can be met with critique. I felt this one was deeply stirring. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Dear Daniel, I'm so grateful for your kind and insightful note, I'm so glad I joined PS. Thank you for commenting, my dear friend. It's true that sharing our vulnerabilities and feelings can be met with disappointment. Sometimes, people don't value our offers and efforts even if we pour our hearts out. Warm regards, Anne
