The book of Ester in the bible is a wonderful story of a courageous woman. God places us where he needs us. If we don't step up to the plate, he will provide another but how he loves for us to shine in his light, not an easy feat, often dangerous, deadly or unpopular. The reward is so much greater than the suffering here on earth.
She’s a flame in golden garb -
Servant candle, Hadassah.
Angelic feathers, on barb,
For such a time as this ~ and God saw.
What a wretched beast, Haman.
Worked his way up to a seal.
Of Jews, he was not a fan.
The devil’s loathsome pride, a big deal.
The king chose her as his queen.
And again with scepter blest.
At banquet, Haman turns green.
He would hang on gallows, he’d possessed.
