A true serenity
Washes over me
Now I've seen your eyes
And forever emblazoned
Our smiles signify
A renewal of love
An understanding
So before
Washed away
By the past
And whatever lived there
The past
Is now our past
And all the years
Ahead
I see in our smiles
And our calmness
Our arms
Wrapped
Morphed
Into each other
A moment in time
Captured
In a photo
But speaking
A thousand
Words
I love you...
