Serenity

Serenity
By RebelpJones

The calm of my sight
in troubled times
speaks volumes to me,
Because I stepped out of
fake normalcy for a second
to see,

Beyond the horizon
beyond the sugar coated reality,
Everything you've
grown accustomed to
is put here holographically,

Go ahead challenge me,
but you haven't been
where I've been or
seen what I've seen.

You haven't seen
in your dreams
the extent of the things
I've seen in reality,

There's layers of existence
that exist for real in
altered states of mentality,
Calming states of peace exists
within if only you could
allow yourself to step away
from that blissful state of slavery,

and the mental prison
you've always been
content living in,
It's a given then
you've been living
your whole life in
blind sin,

if you believe in
the general definition of sin.
I don't follow those rules of
the fictional book of lies
you've been living in,
I never never needed
a guide to live humanly right,
Fore my moral compass
already exists inside
as my guiding light.
