Your haiku makes me think of the way buffalos were massacred for their hides in "Dances with Wolves," Robb. A gruesome scene indeed. The Native Americans ate the buffalo meat and felt it was unconscionable to take only their hides and leave them to die. Excellent haiku! Best wishes, Carolyn
