Sequence-Country Walk

Follow the track with the scenic view,
into the wood with a carpet blue.

Between clumps of gorse in yellow garb,
along a path baked summer hard.

Around shadu ponds that teem with life,
rush and sedge amidst tall loose strife.

Into the meadow,a country stile,
contemplating I sit awhile.

Wonderful Brian, nothing beats being outside in the country side. To find a secluded spot and enjoy one's own company and thoughts. Good one. Regards Heidie

I love a walk like this. I'm an avid walker, take one every morning, rain or shine.....that is the one time to relish what nature lives around us. A shame that often the rest of the day one gets too busy to notice. Lovely picture you painted! ~Carrie

Hey to you, Brian! This sounds like a beautiful and peaceful stroll..what better companion than nature? Love the ending, reminds me a bit of Frost, he also got his vibes and energy from nature. I wish the best to you and yours..God bless! Mikki
