Sequence of Events

Previously seen in Opium dreams,
These scenes of Deja-Vu
Future reference balance beams
(The Present misconstrued)
In retrospect, I do reflect,
"Did I see the warning signs?"
Time is met with sheer suspect
As Life rewinds the past unkind
