September Rain

As the rain softly kisses, the roof top tonight
I hold you in my arms, as we promenade
No glow from the moon, clouds cover its light
Our minds in whirl, from a hard lemonade

Well Semptember has come, a chills in the air
Your head on my chest, love on the brain
The music is playing, my eyes start to stare
My mind wants to wander, away from this rain

September rain, take me back to July
On the beaches of sand, and tan in my eyes
Oh September rain, you got my mind here on trial
Your chills in the air, telling the summer goodbye

Your whisper of love, braught me back from my dreams
And the smell of your hair, just drives my mind wild
Though summer is gone, you look good in your jeans
As my arms pick you up, and carry you there

September rain, take me back to July
On the beaches of sand, and tan in my eyes
Oh September rain, you got my mind here on trial
Your chills in the air, telling the summer goodbye
