September Intrerrupted

A clear blue sky drawn
                      as terror interrupted
                                          this calm September

Yes... I was working in center city Philly when this came across the airwaves.. and everyone thought it was a prank or joke saying this could never happen.. and then the computers told the story of that awful impact one after the other and how a landmark turned to ashes..luv.. still fresh in so many minds.. of the loss luv.. a stirring emotional Senryu of remembrance.. luv..

Nice senryu. Not too many know the difference.

This tragedy stuck so suddenly, Michael. I lost a friend, but many lost spouses, children and other family members. Indeed, the terror came from out of a "clear blue sky," Michael. Thought-provoking and moving senryu, my friend. Love, Carolyn

Michael, it is sad to remember, the skies on this day. Very heart breaking, I still feel the sadness of that day as if it was yesterday. Today is also my mothers birthday. I have to go see her. Thanks for all the poems you posted this morning, they brought cheers to my face, well except this memory. Enjoyed your poem,..p..d
