September Falls
Strong winds leave no leaf unturned, they sweep,
Entire mountain & valley draped in gold.
Pause and think, for nothing we here can keep—
Time’s fleeting brush makes young and old unfold.
Eternally depart with grace and pride,
Maturity, the jewel of autumn’s reign.
Bestow your wisdom, share the wealth inside,
Even great rulers leave with naught to gain.
Remember, life is brief yet full of light,
Facts of existence, roots of our rebirth.
As autumn whispers through the quiet night,
Let us see the transient beauty's net worth.
Live as the leaves, in color’s final call,
Showing esteem before the final fall.
