Lord I have some questions
What is wrong with mankind
How can we do this to one another
The answer I cannot find.
You made us from your image
Which to me means loving and kind
But Satan has integrated himself
Whispering evil into some minds.
These people who are weak
Who care nothing for human life
Why are they still among us
To only bring heartache and strife.
I know we are all your children
And you love us one and all
You forgive us for our sins
Even though we do appall.
I know myself and others
Are sinners in your eyes
It is hard for us humans
But most of us do try.
Do you forgive your children
Who have Satan in their heart
Who kill innocent people
Who tear lives apart.
The terror that happened today
The many lives that were lost
What is so important
To get at any cost.
Life today is so frightening
So many wicked people exist
Satan seems to be gaining
Why cant they just resist.
I know there is a plan
What it is I do not know
I will put my trust in you
To fight off this terrible foe.
