Seperated By 3

I think back to when I was 16 The kids that I laughed with and the kids that were mean. The fun that we had doing teenager things. There were some lonely dances. There were some "promise" rings. Passing notes to my sweetheart, then she'd pass one to me, We were seated apart-seperated by 3 When the lunch buzzer buzzed-I'd race through the hall. Make my way to her locker,it was right next to Pauls. Her name,it was Tracy. Even back then "the bomb". And I was so lucky to be liked by her mom. Our love was still innocent,I'd cause her no harm. Yes, those were the days, now so long ago. There are some who I've forgotten and some that I still know. But thinking back of Tracy, it still does make me glow. RJM 2019
