Always wanting more 
Than you were prepared to give
Leads us now our separate ways 
With altered lives to live
My heart will always beat for you 
With what little is left intact
Love for us has come and gone 
So there will be no turning back
If ever you have a lonesome day 
With nothing else left to do
Think back on our love filled days 
When my love was all for you
