Sent
“Sent”, the sign says
So it might be received
Or missed in the haste
A day later retrieved
The next day forgotten
A week after saved
To be lost in the bottom
Under permanent waves
Was it some chord?
Or it could be a pause
Between the two chords
Who knows what it was…
