Sensing Inner Peace

Hear songs of the moon,
Observe the ocean’s dance,
Its graceful waves,
Sway to the tune.

See clouds of the sky,
Watch how they fade away,
When stars appear,
Whilst they, "Good-Bye.”

Smell flowers of spring,
See how the birds give thanks,
They prove their joy,
Just hear them sing.

Touch a sprouting bud,
Feel for its pulse within,
Its branching leaves,
A silent thud.

Taste fruit of the wild,
Feel how it nurtures you,
So graciously,
Its tartness mild.

Inner peace is found,
Within the little things,
That nature brings,
Sensed all around.
