Sensations

My head is spinning oh so fast
God please tell me this feeling will last
I’m not drunk and I’m not high
Let me live like this until I die.
These sensations flow through my head
Coarse as silk and light as lead
My body stays grounded on Earth
As my mind undergoes a spiritual birth.

I’ll live as clean as a saint
Cleaning the world of its taint
I may sound stupid, a little dumb
But I don’t care; my body’s numb
To all the pain and all the hate
And all the sympathy that came too late
I need nothing but God at my side
Forget the old me: that fool died.
